Review process

All submissions received by Massmin2020 are subject to all stages of the review process in order to be approved for publication in the proceedings and included in the technical program.

Stage 1: Abstract Selection

All abstracts will be reviewed and commented on by MassMin2020’s Technical Committee. Approval of an abstract at this stage does not automatically guarantee that the final version will be accepted and included in the program. The authors of selected abstracts will receive comments to consider and include in the final version of their article.

Stage 2: Paper Selection

Papers must be written in accordance with the standards established for the conference. Papers that fully comply with the requirements will be committee-reviewed.

Once papers are reviewed, if the paper is selected, the review committee will send comments to the authors, and a final version of the paper will be requested within two weeks. The final paper should address the comments and suggestions made by the review committee.

Stage 3: Paper confirmation

The papers will be reviewed by the Technical Committee and the Editor of MassMin2020 to ensure that all modifications have been made. If neccesary, the Technical Committee and/or Editor may send comments to authors who will have 4 week to respond and resubmit.

Stage 4: Final Paper Approval

At this stage, papers will be confirmed for oral presentation. Final papers approved for publication will be published in the MassMin2020 proceedings. At this stage, authors must register for the conference to confirm their participation.
